Standard Strategy

The Storm King is a gimmick fight, requiring the Stormruler weapon (or a bow). Race to the left side cliff and pick up the Stormruler. You can use the Thief’s Ring to help avoid detection, making the Storm King boss fight easier. Begin clearing out the Storm Beasts to make the fight easier to manage. After several Storm Beasts are done, the Storm King will make a pass. When he circles by, lock onto the Storm King and attack him with the Stormruler. After a few cycles of this, you will defeat Storm King.

No Hit / Flawless Strategy

Race to the left side cliff and pick up the Stormruler. After grabbing the Stormruler, zig zag your way across to the broken house/hut. You want to sprint in a zig zag direction to avoid getting hit by the Storm Beasts. You can use the Thief’s Ring to help avoid detection, making the Storm King fight easier. When in the hut, position yourself on the close left corner (left side closest to the Storm King arena entrance). Face your character into the left wall of the broken house and keep spamming the Stormruler attack. Eventually, the Storm Beasts and Storm King will be defeated.

Occasionally, a Storm Beast will detect you and fly overhead for an attack. You need to dodge this attack. Except for this, you are completely safe within the broken house.
