Easy Strategy
Prepare for the fight with a decent bow and TONS of arrows (about 80+ to be safe). Head down the bridge in 1-2 entering the first keep. From there, head right and up the stairs. Follow the stairway to the top of the tower. Defeat the archers at the top of the tower. Then look forward and watch the path of the Red Dragon boss. He will continuously fly around and approach the tower. This is where you will spend the next several minutes, sniping the Red Dragon as he makes his approach. You are 100% safe here, so you only need patience. Do your best not to waste many arrows, especially if you are doing this early in the game.
If you do not have a bow setup, you can also use Soul Arrow to defeat Red Dragon at the top of the tower. This could take a long time if you are waiting for passive magic regen. If you have Fresh Spice available, this fight will go considerably faster.

No Hit / Flawless Strategy
Red Dragon is an optional boss not typically done on a no hit run. However, the “Easy Strategy” above is simple to execute without taking any damage from the Red Dragon boss. The main danger here on a Demon’s Souls no hit run will be the archers.
